Benson the cat from the USA has become a real celebrity, thanks to his spectacular pictures on Instagram. Its owners spare no effort and money to create new images for their cute. It's hard to believe that Benson was once a homeless Arab cat, eating scraps at restaurants in Dubai.
Five years ago, an American family on vacation in Dubai saw a dirty and skinny young cat near the back entrance to the hotel. The animal was not one of the timid ones and gave itself to be petted and fed. On closer inspection, it turned out that the cat is naturally endowed with a luxurious fluffy coat and a pretty face that can touch anyone.
After a short family council, it was decided to take the poor man off the street. The dirty tramp was carried into the room, thoroughly washed and treated for parasites. The American couple had to spend part of their vacation to get all the documents necessary to transport the animal from the UAE to the United States, but people did not doubt for a second that they were doing the right thing.
As a result, an Arab cat, who received the Anglo-Saxon name Benson, crossed the ocean and became an American cat. The pet immediately got its own page on Instagram, where his rescuers began to post the most successful photos. But then the owners of Benson thought that their cat was not fashionable enough in one collar and they started a separate wardrobe for him.
Now Benson has tuxedos, coats, sweaters, jeans, bathrobes and even ski suits. Photos of the animal in new images appear on Instagram regularly and the number of its fans is growing rapidly. Everyone knows how difficult it is to put something on a cat and how difficult it is to get him to pose. Benson is also a special cat in this regard – he understands from half a word what the photographer wants from him and sits motionless until he is allowed to move.
Over time, Benson allowed the use of glasses and hats in his images, which made his photos even more entertaining. Sometimes the stylish cat himself takes poses that are ideal for shooting, which scares others a little. After all, a cat who knows how to pose is not quite normal.
