Stalin's dacha
At the beginning of the 1930s, Stalin needed a new place to rest, so that it would have a beautiful untouched landscape and at the same time be close to the main centers of the country, Moscow and Leningrad. The choice fell on Valdai Lake Dinner: velvety microclimate, cleanest lake, salubrious air, there is only one village of Long Beards nearby.
At the end of the 1930s, the famous "Stalin's dacha" was a one-story building (50 m above the level of the Valdai Lakes), more than 300 sq. m, 5 rooms. Now, in principle, the same thing, only after the recent reconstruction, some modern items appeared in the interiors - TVs, air conditioning, etc.
“The dacha should have the same rooms as in the Kremlin apartment” - this installation was carried out during the construction of numerous dachas of the leader. This meant: inside - oak panels and parquet, always a billiards and a cinema hall, external walls plastered with cement mixed with green paint. By the way, for the construction of dachas, and not only Stalin's, special construction, installation and engineering and operational departments were created, which were supposed to build and care for all this. Outsiders were not allowed to enter sensitive facilities - all this was a secret sealed with seven seals ... However, it is known for certain that the prisoners built it.
During the Great Patriotic War, the dacha was in the front line, and it housed the defense headquarters, and in the outbuildings - the evacuation hospital.
There is a legend that the Secretary General visited here only once, in 1940. The dacha was surrounded by the Valdai Lakes, which Stalin allegedly did not like, and he said: "A mousetrap." However, this is only a legend.
Well, let's go inside, see the pictures? (Author's spelling and punctuation saved)
dacha hall
Glasses - crystal with the addition of silver.
Gloomy calidors with authentic ovens
And what thick soft carpets are there, you can go crazy!
Actually, the chief's apartments
Kingdom of natural wood.
Geometry
In bed with Stalin
May I live like this!
More dacha premises (no, not like that, Dacha)
Vasilich, if only we could fight here
By the way, the pockets are slightly wider than standard
Pomp as it is
The most interesting thing is that the Valdai subsidiary, on the territory of which Dacha, rents it out for guests, and the price tag is not hundreds of millions, but quite a real one - about $ 200 per person.
From the outside, the building is quite modest, and you can’t say that it’s so cool inside
Such is the excursion. Thank you please.
