Sophisticated sexuality in the pictures of Larsen Sotelo
American photographer Larsen Sotelo lives in Los Angeles and has been professionally engaged in photography for 12 years. He specializes in portrait photography, but is also known as a master of the erotic genre. The girls in his pictures are never aggressively sexy - they are young, tender and almost always a little sad. One of the photographer's projects is called "Sophisticated Sexuality". Why? You'll figure it out for yourself. (Careful! Nude).
Larsen Sotelo is a graphic designer by profession. Once he moved to LA to work in this field and develop. But one day Sotelo lost his job and was left without means of livelihood. He had a camera and little photography skills, so the guy decided to temporarily work as a photographer.
The novice photographer took orders from little-known publications and studios, and he did not notice how he "grew up" into a master who is welcome in big glossy magazines. In general, Larsen turned out to be so good in his new field that his forced work turned into a vocation.
Sotelo, who once dreamed of becoming a big deal in design, has reached the top in photography and is among the most sought-after artists of the Western United States. He collaborates with Jeffrey Campbell and Paco Rabanne, as well as with many magazines from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France and Australia.
Larsen is inspired by female charisma and loves creativity. All his pictures with girls are filled with calm sexuality and are invariably interesting.
"Sophisticated Sexuality" is a project that perfectly reveals Larsen as a photographer. The young models in the pictures are not just faceless sexual objects, but people with different characters.
Czech photographer Lukas Dvorak works in a very similar style. He also celebrates the beauty of young bodies without a drop of vulgarity.
