Smartphone with the letter "X". What was told at the presentation of the new line of Sony Xperia X smartphones in Russia
One of the few manufacturers whose smartphones are still in demand and even demonstrate some innovations is Sony Mobile. The Xperia line has accustomed smart phone users to the fact that a modern smartphone should be thin, elegant, with a large and bright display and not be afraid of dust and water. For this, a special thank you from fans of watching movies in the bathroom =)

By introducing its new line of mobile devices called Xperia X, the Japanese company once again reminded the whole world that not only Koreans and Chinese with their huge number of the same type of bright crafts, the whole difference between which lies in the color and design of the case, are able to make smartphones. At the same time, unlike their Asian counterparts, the Japanese demonstrate great competence in the creation of mobile devices and produce really stylish and innovative mobile devices.
The announcement of the Xperia X series took place earlier this year at MWC-2016. In less than six months, smartphones were shown in Russia, and literally at the beginning of July they will already be available to order in the Sony Store Online and in the network of Sony Centre branded stores.
The Japanese have released three models of the Xperia X series smartphone: initial — Xperia XA, medium — Xperia X and top — Xperia X Performance. All three smartphones are like twin brothers, it is unrealistic to find "ten differences". All thanks to the same design, the distinctive feature of which is 5—inch displays with rounded edges, smoothly turning into a thin (thickness from 7.7 to 8.6 mm), elegant seamless case with metal edging along the edge. Even the colors are the same: graphite black, white, lime gold and rose gold — where without it.
Smartphones differ only in the filling: screen resolution, the number of megapixels in the photo modules and processors. The younger Xperia XA model is equipped with an HD display (720p), and the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance models are equipped with Full HD displays (1080p). Each device supports working with microSD memory cards, and also allows you to install a second SIM card in the microSD card slot - hello to two-sim Chinese smartphones with AliExpress. In addition to this, all Xperia X smartphones support LTE 4G/Cat 4 networks, are equipped with the latest versions of wireless interfaces (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC) and operate under the latest version of the Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system — well, why not nyashki?

The most affordable model from the series — Xperia XA (at a price of 21,990 rubles) — is built on a MediaTek chipset with an 8-core processor and is equipped with 2 gigabytes of RAM. Also a distinctive feature of the smartphone are the installed 13-megapixel main and 8-megapixel front cameras. The main camera with hybrid autofocus allows you to get clear pictures even of fast—moving objects, and the front camera is ideal for selfie lovers and is able to take high-quality photos even in low-light conditions - tremble, Instagram!

The more expensive Xperia X model (priced at 39,990 rubles) has a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and 3 gigabytes of RAM. Unlike the budget model with the XA index, Xperia X boasts an even more sophisticated main camera with a resolution of 23 megapixels, which turns on from standby mode in just 0.6 seconds and allows you to score photo hosting and cloud services with hundreds of gigabytes of the same type, but at the same time very high-quality photos. The front camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels is equipped with a highly sensitive Sony matrix capable of taking excellent selfies even at night — instagram, well, you've already figured it out =) Another difference between the Xperia X model and the younger Xperia XA is the presence of a fingerprint scanner built into the power button — you can finally stop poking at the image of numbers and displaying clever figures on the screen!
The flagship of the line — the Xperia X Performance model — is built on the top Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a 64-core processor and is equipped with 3 gigabytes of RAM, which implies a high level of performance in all possible scenarios and operating modes — finally let's play without brakes! The Xperia X Performance photo modules are similar to the Xperia X photo modules with a small addition in the form of a predictive autofocus system that tracks the movement of the subject and raises the bar for the quality of photographs to the level of budget DSLRs. The fingerprint scanner built into the power button is responsible for the safety and security of personal data, as well as in the Xperia X model.
From the postulate "if it arrived somewhere, it means it has gone somewhere", it follows that the high-performance filling implies intensive battery consumption, but Sony Mobile engineers made sure that their smartphones could work for at least two days. And it's not just the battery capacity (2700 mAh for Xperia X Performance, 2620 mAh for Xperia X and 2300 mAh for Xperia XA), but also the Qnovo adaptive charging technology, which allows you to save battery life when recharging and prolong its service life. Based on all this, there is a chance that the device will definitely survive until late in the evening with intensive use, which is not bad in current realities. The Xperia X Performance smartphone will be on sale from day to day — in early July at a price of almost 50 thousand rubles. Crisis? No, you haven't heard…
In the difficult struggle for the buyer's wallet, Sony marketers promise interesting bonuses to the first buyers of Xperia X smartphones: a six-month subscription to Google Play Music, as well as a voucher for 12 top films from the Privilege Plus service and an additional extended warranty on the display, according to which it will be possible to replace it within one year from the date of purchase of the smartphone in in case of damage. The last bonus is very interesting, given the fact that smartphone manufacturers assure us every time that their new displays with Gorilla Glass technology cannot be broken or scratched.
Google Play Music is a streaming service that gives access to more than 35 million tracks. Every Xperia X customer, having subscribed, gets the opportunity to download any tracks, albums, receive recommendations based on their preferences, create their own playlists and listen to music from any device even in offline mode for six months.
Privilege Plus is a library of more than 120 movies in HD format with the ability to watch and download online via 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi. Xperia X buyers will receive a gift of 12 films of any kind, as well as access to exclusive content from Sony: TV series pilots, backstage from filming, virtual reality videos and much more.
In addition to the smartphones themselves, Sony Mobile has also introduced a wide range of accessories for a new line of smart phones: several models of original transparent silicone cases and several versions of cases with a transparent window that allow you to control the functions of the smartphone without opening the lid. And also a really useful accessory is the new UCH12 charger, which supports fast charging technologies from Qualcomm and MediaTek.
