A young Russian artist Nastasia Chudakova works in the genre of realism. She paints simple, understandable pictures from the lives of residents of Russian villages and small provincial towns.

Most often, Chudakova's works are dedicated to children and teenagers who play, study, work, dream, just live. Sometimes it seems that the artist knows something important and therefore can portray ... happiness.

Nastasia Chudakova spent her childhood in Vyazma, so the atmosphere of a small provincial town, where almost everyone knows each other, is very close to her. The girl graduated from an art school in Kaluga and under the influence of this city and the beautiful Central Russian nature surrounding it, she was formed as a painter.

Vyazma and Kaluga are the two main places for Nastasia on the world map. Although now Chudakova lives and works in Moscow, she still happens to be in her small homeland, fueled by her energy. Many are surprised that almost all of the artist's paintings depict children, but she explains it very simply:

The phrase "We all come from childhood" fits Nastasia's paintings perfectly. Many of us had grandparents in such Vyazmas, or even in villages, with whom we spent the summer.

The indescribable atmosphere of simple happiness, when you have a whole summer ahead of you, and you know all the neighborhood cats by their nicknames and plan hundreds of childish things, illuminates every work of Chudakova.

Muscovite Ivan Sapkov also dedicates his works to childhood, but his inspiration is directed not by a brush, but by a camera lens.
