Seemingly innocuous photos that will make you feel a sense of anxiety
For an article called "In suspense" in issue of the American magazine Kinfolk, dedicated to the adrenaline, photographer Aaron tilley and art Director Kyle Bina asked to recreate that awful moment when something has to happen and we have an uneasy feeling.
The project covers a curious connection between what our minds perceive, and how our body reacts to it. Fear and foreboding of something bad contribute to the release of adrenaline, even when we know that nothing will happen. It is considered that this reaction is closely associated with the "fight or flight", which for a long time helped our ancestors survive.
And that's what Aaron tilley and Kyle Bina happened. The photo is specially made so to cause a feeling of restlessness, anxiety and discomfort, as if about to happen something terrible. Well, you have these images affected?
