Scottish couple keep a 'unicorn' as a pet

Categories: Animals | Positive |

An eccentric Scottish couple has the world's strangest pet, a unicorn. Jim and Mary Connelly bought a miniature Shetland pony Tinkerbell last year from relatives.

The five-year-old horse earns her living by dressing up as a unicorn and riding local children. But she also roams freely around the house of her owners - and in a costume! Once the animal defecated in the kitchen - an unfortunate incident, the owners recall.

Tinkerbell steals fruit from the kitchen and is not averse to watching TV. More curiously, the pony has a rival - Sparky's parrot, he calls Tinkerbell "dirty dog". A video of Sparky the parrot swearing has received millions of views on YouTube.
