"Russian OMON" took part in the gay parade in Amsterdam

Categories: Society |

Tens of thousands of people took part in the gay parade in Amsterdam over the weekend. Thematic "flotillas" accompanied by dance music proceeded through the city's canals.

In one of the boats there were people in the form of the Russian riot police "armed" with signs "Too gay!" and "Too pink!". However, they failed to disperse the event: the “riot police” turned out to be ordinary fighters for gay rights, dissatisfied with the policy of the Russian state towards the LGBT community.

Recall that in 2001 the Netherlands became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage.
