It is the elderly representatives who are primarily targeted by the new product from Hasbro — the interactive robocot Joy For All ("Joy for All"). The robot is designed to provide a sense of comfort, home comfort and joy from communicating with an animal, but at the same time it does not require care at all.
2. Joy For All robocots can do many things that ordinary domestic cats can do. Except going to the tray and demanding food.
3. The electronic pet is interactive: stroke the cat and it will start purring. Manufacturers promise that the vibration system inside the "cat" reproduces a sound identical to natural.
4. Robocots can meow, ask for attention, wash their faces and even turn their tummy up. And they are always in a good mood and ready to put their backs and purr. Which is not always typical of their fluffy prototypes.
5. Of course, despite the soft similarity and all the interactive, the robocot will never be able to fully replace a real pet. But this novelty has a very specific task: the robocot was created to be a companion for elderly people, to please them with affection, but not to require care, which the elderly sometimes, unfortunately, cannot afford. In addition, the Joy For All cat is unlikely to be able to scratch or cause other inconveniences.
6. Robocots are produced only in one "breed", but in three different colors: you can have a white, gray or red "cat". The cost of an interactive toy is $ 99. Considering that you don't have to spend money on food and other related cat accessories, it's not a bad deal.
