Pure urbanism: why attend the large-scale urban planning festival "Moscow 2030"?
Think over a plan for the city of the future, get acquainted with contemporary art and listen to a lecture on urban studies, while the child has fun with friends under the supervision of counselors - all this can be done at the sites of the Urban Development Complex of Moscow at the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030".
The first point of attraction is Zaryadye. The multimedia exhibition "City of the Future" is taking place here. In four thematic zones of the futuristic exhibition, visitors are told about the logic and philosophy of urban development, modern technologies and aesthetics of construction, achievements and development prospects of the capital.
This place is not like the usual exhibitions with dry descriptions of exhibits. Almost everything here can be touched or tested in practice. A sea of interactivity, multimedia technologies and neural networks immerse you in the material in the best possible way. For example, anyone can live in a futuristic house, create a plan of the city of the future together with artificial intelligence and go on a flight over a huge map of the capital.
And in the open air in Zaryadye there is an exhibition of the equipment used in the construction of the metro - "Machines that create cities". Powerful equipment was literally taken out from under the ground and moved to the exhibition here, in the very center of Moscow.
Construction and contemporary art have been merged at the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art. At the exhibition “Construction of Creativity,” the profession of a builder in the context of history and modernity is shown through the eyes of an artist. Leading museums and private collectors provided unique posters, paintings, and graphics for the exhibition.
The exhibition was placed in the White Workshop. In the center, a huge "Sunny Bridge" was erected, along which visitors pass through several eras and find themselves in the present.
The festival in Luzhniki is a real paradise for young visitors and their parents. At the children's playground "Be Your Own Builder", kids and teenagers will find a huge construction crane, a climbing wall, trampolines, games and master classes with counselors.
The playground offers a variety of activities for the kids. They attend exciting classes on design, urbanism and ecology, plant microgreens and figure out how to build a drawbridge. Everyone here receives a builder's passport, where all their achievements are noted.
For adult guests of Luzhniki, there is a lounge area with a café, where you can relax on a pouf or hammock and listen to podcasts about urbanism and architecture.
For the future, go to the forum-festival "Moscow 2030"!
