Portraits of aging British informals and rebels

London-based photographer Moore Vidler has captured British aging non-conformists: mods and rockers, a fire-spitting circus performer and even Elvis Presley's Chinese counterpart.

Vidler says the project began when he met 60-year-old Adrian Delgof at a London club, who was dancing there alone, dressed in leather pants.

“I thought that this man is older than my father and it’s great that he is now at the club, and not at home in front of the TV, strewn with cookie crumbs,” says the photographer. The first portrait in the series was made at the man's home.

“I started shooting older people who make this world more fun and better - people who never grow old!” Vidler says.
