The British Museum of Natural History, located in London, summed up the results of the annual prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. In 2020, the winner was Russian photographer Sergey Gorshkov with a unique shot of an Amur tiger in a national park in the Far East.
Photographer Sergey Gorshkov became the winner of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2020 contest thanks to his photo of an Amur tiger marking a spruce tree in the Russian Far East with its own scent. The frame called "Embrace" shows a unique moment when the endangered Amur tiger marks its territory.
