These figurines look so attractive, so perfect in their shape, that it is hard to believe that they are made of ordinary bars of wood, which are thrown away by the tons in production. The British woodworker turns completely ordinary pieces of wood into a real work of art — and you want to not only look at any of his work for an infinitely long time, but also iron it, enjoying every touch.
"At the end of each year, I usually find myself with a huge pile of pieces of wood, and my new year begins with the fact that I am looking for small living creatures in these uncouth bars. Some animals wait for their fate for months, sometimes for years. And I am always extremely happy to meet them again after a long separation," writes Perry Lancaster (Lancaster Reggae) about his work.
