Paper grief: a girl carved more than 800 paper butterflies in memory of her late grandmother
Illustrator Maria Aristido lives in Cyprus. A month ago, her grandmother died, and for no reason at all, the girl began to cut butterflies out of paper. This activity calmed her down. Last December, Maria opened her own studio in Larnaca and used paper butterflies to create a commemorative showcase in honor of her late grandmother.
