Our summer has gone to Arizona: Americans post photos of how everything melts around
While everyone is languishing because of the lack of a warm summer, it seems that we have guessed where it has gone. An abnormal heat wave has hit the southwestern United States - the thermometer shows +49, and the forecasts are not comforting at all, promising that the heat will last at least a few more days. People lose consciousness from heat and sunstrokes, get burns from asphalt, flights are canceled at airports.
And local residents have no choice but to post photos on social networks of how everything around is literally melting. By the way, the last record of 50 degrees Celsius was recorded on June 26, 1990 in Phoenix.

Everything plastic melts before our eyes — for example, mailboxes.
Fences.
And not only plastic. Road signs don't stand up either.
Even cacti feel bad.
There are not enough colors on the weather map to show how high the temperature is.
People are not discouraged and get the most out of it. For example, they bake cookies in the car.
Whole trays of cookies.

On the street, you can safely make scrambled eggs by putting a frying pan on the asphalt.
Speaking of the oven. It is impossible to get behind the wheel without tacks.
Dogs are put on special shoes so that they do not get burns from the asphalt.
It seems that scorpions also have a hard time in the heat. One woman found a scorpion in her pool under water and posted a photo on Twitter.
