Naked on the pavement: on the "Topless Day" American women took to the streets with bare breasts in defense of gender equality
In the USA, several dozen women took to the streets with bare breasts. Similar processions are held every year on the Sunday closest to Women's Equality Day. The celebration is timed to the anniversary of the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, which granted women full voting rights on August 26, 1920.

It was also difficult not to notice the participants for the reason that they were accompanied by a huge inflatable chest of bright pink color.
Several dozen women walked along New York Broadway, also accompanied by stunned onlookers. But this notable performance did not end at the processions in Los Angeles and New York: demonstrations were also planned in New Hampshire and Denver (Colorado).
"The desire of women to appear in public with bare breasts in the XXI century is as great as their desire to get voting rights in the XX century. Perhaps it may seem too emotional to someone, but being emotional is not prohibited by law," said Nadine Gary, president of Go Topless.
The men who did not expect such happiness were shocked by what was happening and did not fail to capture the participants of the procession in their pictures and videos.
