Ivan Dementievsky writes: “A selection of photographs taken in different regions of the Nepalese Himalayas during the two months of the expedition. Today without stories, and stories, only photos, but I warn you, there are many, many photos! It's like a report on the mountains))) "
1. Everest, the heart of the Himalayas. I stood on Kalapatara near the cliff and waited until it was completely dark. Some time after sunset, apparently the temperature began to drop sharply, several avalanches began to descend one after another, and although I was far away, the powerful roar of falling snow and ice inspired fear. And somehow it was strange to look at the lights of the base camp, the only warm and alive in this realm of cold and ice. All these people are obsessed with the idea of climbing Everest. So much effort, sometimes beyond the norm, these people have to make, and it does not always end well.
2. Finally, already near the kingdom of Mustang, we walked along the "roof of the world", this is the beginning of the Tibetan plateau. Not a soul for many kilometers, only wind, only sand. With the latter, we got used to it so much that we no longer paid attention. And he was everywhere, in the hair, in the eyes, on / in the camera, all the clothes, the backpack, everything was literally soaked with it ... Everything is in the sand, but if you ignore it, you can have a great walk on the roof of the world)))
