Mother goose "asked" a policeman to save a gosling in trouble
On Monday, Officer James Givens from Ohio, as always, was patrolling the park area when a goose approached him — and not just out of curiosity: the bird clearly wanted something. Givens said that the goose came up and began to knock on the door of the patrol car with its beak. The policeman threw her some food, but the bird didn't even touch her. She looked at the officer, beat her beak and quacked, and then he decided to get out of the car.
The goose immediately went forward, and the perplexed policeman had no choice but to follow her through the grass to the pond. It was there that he saw what the bird was so insistently seeking attention for — one of its chicks got entangled in a rope from a balloon and could not get free in any way.
Then a colleague of the policeman Cecilia Charron volunteered to help the unfortunate goose. And while she was freeing the baby's stuck paw, the goose finally calmed down and stood next to them, watching them. As soon as the baby was free, he immediately ran to his mother.
