In addition, the role of this very Marine will be played by the magnificent actor Oscar Isaac ("Scenes from married life", "Dune", "Star Wars: Skywalker. Sunrise"). It's too early to judge how he will manifest himself in this role, because the series will appear on the site only at the end of March.

For now, let's find out what is generally known about the mysterious Moon Knight and what is his difference from other Marvel heroes.

Moon Knight from Marvel – what is known about the new hero of the cinematic universe?

Moon Knight's real name is Mark Spector. According to the comics, he was born into the family of a rabbi who fled Czechoslovakia to the United States. Throughout his childhood, the boy dreamed of becoming a professional boxer, but his father wanted him to follow in his footsteps. Once he even tried to stop the already grown-up Mark from going to a boxing match, for which he hit him.

The very next day Spector joined the US Marines, and 2 years later, having become an experienced fighter, he began working for the CIA. In addition, Mark was a mercenary and carried out the orders of those who are willing to pay more: terrorists, bandits, scammers and others.

One of his customers, the villain Raoul Bushman, was particularly cruel and bloodthirsty. His desire to kill and rob made Mark think about the correctness of the chosen path. As a result, he challenged Bushman to a duel, but lost. He was beaten half to death and left to die in the desert. There he was found by the Egyptians who worshipped the moon god Khons. And it was this god who subsequently offered Mark his life in exchange for a service — he would become his incarnation on Earth and serve him faithfully.

The authors of the series promise that it will be based on the Moon Knight comics, and all the events in it will be closely intertwined with the rest of the stories of the Marvel universe. A former mercenary and Marine begins to fight crime, in particular, the main antagonist named the Solar King. But this struggle is complicated by the fact that Spector suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Each of his personalities is a separate character.

The series will be released on the Disney+ platform on March 30. In the meantime, the first official trailer of the project has appeared on the web:

It is known that the series will consist of six episodes lasting 40-60 minutes. The project will be part of the fourth phase of the Marvel universe. Whether there will be other super-heroes in it is still unknown. The authors announced only the appearance of Anton Mogart - the Midnight Man. His role was played by Gaspard Ulliel, and it became the last in the actor's life. On January 19, 2022, Ulliel died in an accident at a ski resort.

Ethan Hawke will also appear in Moon Knight. He will play cult leader Arthur Harrow, encouraging Spector to embrace his inner darkness.
