Mexican cuisine can hardly be called healthy — hot sauces, fried meat, chips and an almost complete absence of soups. But with all this, Mexican gastronomy is very popular in the world. The basis of most dishes is a tortilla — a tortilla made of corn or wheat flour. Burritos, tacos, nachos, etc. are made from it. The main alcoholic drink is mezcal. For dessert, Mexicans use cocoa or hot chocolate.
