"Man, no matter what": a project about the life of our circulatory system
The duo of Polish photographer Jan Kriwol and digital artist Markos Kay revealed to the world an unusual photo project called "Man, no matter what". Its main character is the circulatory system of a person in the context of everyday life. The project shows how fragile we are in the big world around us, and also challenges prejudices.
The idea of an unusual project belongs to photographer Jan Krivol — after months of searching for the perfect illustrator for the project, he met Marcos Kay. In a duet, they managed to perfect the idea, and brilliantly execute it.
The photos of Krivol, which he took in different parts of the world, were taken as a background. Kay added a 3D visualization model of the human circulatory system to the images.
A shopping trip, lunch at a restaurant, a walk with a pet - the figure in the illustrations performs everyday actions, but there is a deep meaning in these works.
This unusual series shows how fragile people are in the big world around them. Also, the project challenges social barriers, such as racial and gender differences, proving that despite any external attributes and belonging to something, we are all the same, and a person always remains a person.
