Magnum photographers share their very personal images
We love photographers of the legendary Agency Magnum. The project "up Close and personal" includes more than 60 photos from members of the Agency, which they believe fully reveal the theme of intimacy.
1. Richard Kalvar
"What could be more intimate than the Tokyo school of sex (whatever that is), especially the lesson 437B, "Licking toes"? I have five months of trying to get closer to Japan. But we were separated by the glass wall of language. I saw but did not understand what I see. I probably would have been better off if I understood what was happening. 2. Thomas Hepker

"A few years ago I took an elderly storytellers in the Aegean Islands. In Karpathos I met this 90-year-old woman. She greeted me warmly and friendly. 6. Burt Glinn
Helen Glynn, widow of the photographer: "Chicago, Il: two young protestors rest during a Gathering of Democrats in 1968. Burt glinn was a staunch Democrat from a family of leftists. 9. Tim Hetherington
