Sergey Dolya writes: “After we got acquainted with salmon (and before meeting with bears), we had another interesting event: we went up in helicopters and took pictures of Kamchatka from a bird’s eye view…”

1. Before the flight, I had to wait two hours for the weather at the fence of the Vityaz-aero runway
2. In the midst of a photo session of cars, an employee of the airfield approached, offered to drive inside and shoot cars against the backdrop of helicopters
3. Employees asked me to take a photo with the name of the airfield and made me promise to include it in the report
4. For this, the guys offered to take pictures of cars from a height and specially lifted one of the helicopters into the air. This is not the first time I have been shooting from an open MI-8. Usually there is a belt in the cabin with which you are tied to the seat, but in this particular helicopter the belt turned out to be too small for me. As a barrier, a stepladder was placed across the open door.
5. I was the only one who filmed from the air, but Sasha Zheleznyak photographed me from the roof of the car. Looking forward to the photo :)
6. Finally, the weather cleared up and we flew
7. Yelizovo
8. Vilyuchinsky volcano, if I'm not mistaken again, as was the post about Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
9.
10. Several photos of Kamchatka from the air. Despite August, there is snow in many places
11. Another volcano
12. Small red hill
13.
14. While flying, I noticed a dot in the snow. This is a bear, although the silhouette is very similar to a mammoth
15. Unfortunately, I did not remember the names of all the volcanoes that I met along the way. If anyone can identify them from the pictures, write in the comments - I will add

19. Mutnovskaya Sopka
20. Volcano Ksudach

25. Lake Kuril is located on the territory of the South Kamchatka Federal Reserve
26. Coming in for landing, we noticed a bear keen on fishing
27. Cordon of the reserve. Inspectors live here, who guard and patrol the territory of the reserve. There are several tents on the cordon, they can receive visitors and tourists
28. Having sat down safely, we immediately went to the fish protection facility - a favorite place for wild bears to have lunch.
29. Read about bears in the next post. Stay Tuned!
