Indian doctor eats cow dung and recommends it to patients

All over the world, alternative medicine has whole armies of adherents who are ready to use any nasty stuff for the sake of healing. Most often they do it not from a good life, but because of the lack of modern medical care. But it is especially strange when unconventional methods of treatment with improvised means are practiced by a person with a higher medical education. Dr. Manoj Mittal, a pediatrician from Haryana, India, eats cow dung and advises it to his patients.

Dr. Manoj Mittal stated his point of view on cow excrement in a video that he posted online. A short lecture on the benefits of fresh cow manure was completed by the doctor with a session of eating a piece of cow tortilla. Having depicted bliss on his face, Mittal carefully chewed the feces and finished the recording.

Manoj praised the taste and therapeutic qualities of the manure. The doctor also reminded that this is a very ancient remedy for many diseases, the effectiveness of which is foolish to deny.

Mittal said that his mother was a religious woman and fasted when the Hindu religion required it. But for the sake of manure, she interrupted her abstinence and it was not a sin. She sincerely believed that a woman eating cow waste would never have problems with childbirth and would not face such an operation as a caesarean section.

Manoj has absorbed his mother's wisdom and offers everyone to start healing at any cowshed. In India, such calls are not uncommon at all, because manure is a product of the sacred cow's vital activity, has always been considered curative and pure. Now some healers undertake to use it to treat even COVID-19, which can not but frighten. But the treatment of such a plan is usually promoted to the masses by dubious healers from the hinterland, and not by specialists who have graduated from university.

The performance, or rather the performance of Manoj caused a mixed reaction from users. Someone supported a doctor promoting a traditional medicine to the masses, and someone was genuinely outraged. Opinions were divided almost equally, but for some reason it seems that the doctor is waiting for difficult times.

So one of the users wrote under the doctor's video. Another was more direct and simply called Mittal a "bachelor of delusional sciences." In India, they treat not only with manure, but also with laughter. Dr. Madan Kataria from Mumbai conducts massive laughter sessions and they really help!
