Summer Rain Oaks lives in the urban jungle in the truest sense of the word. And all because this comely scientist-ecologist (as well as a plant charmer, a collector of beetles and — wow! — models) managed to fit more than 500 different plants, from herbs and flowers to fruits and vegetables, into his Brooklyn apartment with an area of 100 square meters.

"For me, the only way to survive in New York is to surround myself with plants," Summer says. And, as you can see, she is still perfectly able to act according to plan: every room in her apartment is overflowing with green foliage, and in the bedroom there is a green wall with its own irrigation system. Such dedication to the hobby is truly amazing.
