In Italy, a fatally wounded wild boar killed a hunter Burattini
Boar hunting is traditionally considered one of the most dangerous entertainments. This animal prefers to avoid humans, but when cornered or wounded, it fights to the last. Because of this, the family hunt of a father and son in the Italian province of Tuscany ended tragically. One of the hunters named Giulio Burattini died.
On January 19, 36-year-old Giulio Burattini and his father went to the forest to hunt wild boars. For men, this activity was habitual, so no one thought about the bad. The hunters quickly tracked down the wild animal and Julio shot him. The boar fell dead and looked like it was dead. But when the younger Burattini approached the prey, the beast suddenly woke up.
The mortally wounded boar found the strength to jump up and attack the hunter. He pierced his thigh with his fangs, hitting an artery. The father immediately rushed to help his son, but he only managed to exclaim "Help, help, I'm dying" and lost consciousness. A rescue team was immediately called to the victim, but they arrived too late.
Despite the first aid provided by his father, the man died before the arrival of help. The carcass of a wild boar, whose injury also left him no chance, was discovered by a rescue team nearby. It is known about the deceased that he was a local resident and an experienced hunter. He is survived by his wife and a seven-year-old daughter.
In the summer of 2020, a meeting with a boar of a resident of Germany, Adel Landauer, was without tragedies. However, the man was not hunting, but just sunbathing without clothes. The clash between a naked German and a wild pig has become a meme and even a plot for a toy.
