Animal rights activists are people with a big heart, but at the same time inclined to extreme. The police of the Ukrainian city of Dnipro received a signal that a certain person is walking a cow and a pig in the center of the metropolis. After checking the signal, the police found that in fact, a young woman is walking with a calf and a pig on one of the streets of the regional center.
The eccentric lady turned out to be a US citizen Alice Day, who passionately loves animals. She bought two of her pets in the nearest villages to save them from certain death. First, Alice had a piglet. The hostess doted on him - she kept him in a rented apartment for three weeks, walked him like a dog and even took him to a restaurant a couple of times.
Then Day was "ripe" for buying a heifer and just turned up an animal that was being prepared for slaughter. An animal lover bought a cattle for 20 thousand hryvnias (56 thousand rubles), but she did not have time to settle in a rented apartment. Thanks to the vigilant citizens, the police intercepted Alice and her pets just on the way home.
The owners of the housing arrived at the place of the proceedings, who allowed the American guest to stay. The news that a pig lived in the apartment and a cow almost settled was a real blow for them. The owners of the property expressed a strong protest and put the girl before a choice: either Alice breaks up with the animals, or she is looking for another apartment.
The good American woman had no choice but to transfer the animals to the shelter. She is saddened that she had to part with her four-legged friends, but she is reassured that they are no longer in danger of death.
Selfless animal defender Alice Day travels the world, earning money by teaching English. The girl spends a significant part of her income on saving animals that are threatened with death, and on food for homeless cats and dogs.
