When Sofia Vogel from Berlin comes to visit her future models, the first thing she asks about their hobbies is: "What do you like to do the most?" The hobbies of people caught in the lens of a German woman are very different: from yoga to wine tasting. "Then do your favorite thing," Sofia asks and takes several shots of models first in clothes, and then ... without it.
On the frames of the photo project "With and Without" (With and Without), which Sofia started working on in 2016, photos with clothed and naked people are sewn together. People of all ages and genders are enthusiastically engaged in what they love in their usual environment. In this way, Sofia tries to convey the natural state of nudity, without any sexual background.
The main theme of the photo project is nudity outside the topic of sex and acceptance of one's body.
Sofia's goal is to release a book with collages. The photographer plans to launch a crowdfunding project to raise funds for her publication.
