If you come from the 90s, hold on tight: Tamagotchi is coming back
If your childhood was in the 90s, you probably had a Tamagotchi toy. Or one of your friends had it, and you dreamed about it passionately, but for some reason your parents did not buy it. 20 years ago, in 1997, when the Backstreet Boys and the TV series about the lawyer "Ally McBeal" were at the peak of popularity, tamagotchi was a super hit.
Just in time for the 20th anniversary of the toy, its original manufacturer Bandai has re-released a small electronic pet, which will again be demanding to be fed, cleaned up after it and put to sleep until it dies from neglect.

If the fashion for tamagotchi has somehow passed you by, we explain: these are plastic egg-shaped toys with a key ring in which an electronic pet lives. In the original version, you could have any of six different animals, and the main goal of the game was to keep the animal alive as long as possible.
The new version has the same functions, only now the egg is almost twice as small and much cheaper ($ 13.55 instead of $ 17.99 in 1997).
As with all cool things, there is a catch: the new version of tamagotchi is sold only in Japan and on Japanese Amazon. But there is hope that Bandai will decide to sell them in other countries as well. Well, please! We promise that this time we will definitely take good care of our tamagotchi! Maybe.
