Icelandic rivers - view from above
These amazing paintings are reminiscent of the Martian landscape. This is not a satellite photo at all, as it might seem at first glance. These photos were taken by Russian photographer Andrei Ermolaev from the window of a light aircraft at an altitude of 800 m. “Iceland is a wonderful country. I would even say that this is a real paradise for all photography lovers, says the photographer. “But for me, the real discovery was the rivers flowing through the black volcanic sand. This is an indescribable combination of colors, lines and patterns. The mouth of the river flows into the ocean, and a little higher a yellowish stream joins its course. It's just a river, just a volcano, just our planet."
