The impression of Russia, I have started to take shape in America. My teachers tried to dissuade me from going, saying that Russia is dangerous. But when I met the love of my life, I realized that all this is nonsense. First came to your country, I first noticed how people are kind and honest. It's like I feel a connection with Russian culture, because it reminded me of my family. I noticed that Russian and African Americans are very similar. And I was very surprised that the Russians can be funny and good people, but terrible conservatives at the same time.

But in 4 months I have not been able to get used to the fact that in Russia very few black people. I was the only black in my party, and people were constantly staring at me, and it's creepy Scarecrow. However, then I found out that they are staring not because they are racists, but because they are just very interesting. Then I feel better.

There are many differences, but, since I am both American and black, will compare both options.

Blacks are very noisy and like to joke, and the Russians too, but the humor they have is more subtle. Black put the needs of others above their own, because they are very protective of their friends the Russians are doing the same.

Too many Americans say "thank you", Russians don't do that, they give straight and clear answers.

In General, Russian people are so different. In America they are considered spies and potential enemies. But I don't believe it's all about the Russian. Most of them are friendly and kind, and a pleasure to be in the company. And the most important feature of Russian people is honesty and the fact that he puts the needs of others before their own. In comparison with Americans Russian people less selfish.

Russian male very strong, but for some reason this is not appreciated. Because of the war and other events that Russian survived, the Russian man continues to develop as a strong, kind and tough man who just does his job and does not complain about destiny. I just admire Russian men: they work hard on their jobs to feed a family. No wonder I fell in love with Russian guy.

I hate that people don't want to deal with blacks. But due to the fact that the Russian for me has been very good, I wish all Americans (especially black people) came here and feel it yourself.

And, of course, hated the fact that I was the only black in my social circle, and it attracted too much attention.

I missed the pools and surfing. Surfing in Russia is practically impossible, because the waves are too small. I also miss the tacos, because in California, we only eat this. But there are some dishes in which I just fell in love and prepared now in America: pancakes, porridge, dumplings.

My family always pray before you eat. I'd like to move to Russia. And we every weekend went to a new restaurant to have fun and socialize with each other. Americans, as you know, do not eat at home. Russia — not the case.

When family members my boyfriend talked among themselves in Russian, I always thought that they are fighting each other. When I translated the essence of the conversation, I realized that it's just a particular language. And yet, when I finally learned how to joke in Russian, I occasionally used the wrong end of that entertaining the parents of my boyfriend.
