How Marty McFly Finally Returned to the Future
Everyone was waiting for new achievements in the field of technology from 2015, because it is this year that the hero of the cult film "Back to the Future" Marty McFly arrives. Finally, self-lacing sneakers from Nike, a self-drying jacket and about 100 different hoverboards appeared.
All hoverboards had one common problem — they flew only over a perfectly smooth surface or along a pre-laid route. You probably won't fly far on such a hoverboard, and you certainly won't get away from the chase.
And finally, ARCA Space Corporation has introduced a new hoverboard that flies over almost any surface — earth, water, snow and even ice.
Although the hoverboard is being tested on the ground in the published video, the amount of power generated by the fans allows it to be used over water and ice.
The ArcaBoard hoverboard has 272 horsepower, can lift off the ground by about 30 cm, can lift up to 110 kg and is equipped with 36 powerful electric fans.
The stabilization system does not allow you to fall off the hoverboard. However, unfortunately, the device can fly for only 6 minutes without recharging. The ArcaBoard hoverboard costs a lot, almost 20 thousand dollars. Still, from what we have, it is the ArcaBoard that is as similar as possible to the device on which Marty McFly dissected, and we hope that science will not stop there.
And here are Nike sneakers that lace up at the touch of a button.
