How many sugar cubes are hidden in finished products — clearly
Have you ever wondered how much sugar is contained in the finished yogurt, even if it says that it is "natural"? In fact, the amount of sugar in familiar and popular products on supermarket shelves is truly impressive. Spanish photographer Antonio Estrada, who is fond of healthy and sports nutrition, decided to show how many sugar cubes are contained in different products, and created his own website, where he puts visual photos.
"SinAzucar.org — this is a project whose goal is to visualize the sugar hidden in many refined products that we often consume. The idea is simple: a picture of the product is taken next to the amount of sugar contained in it in cubes, and thus the same visual language is used with which brands sell their products to us," explains the author of the photo project.
The photographer's task is to spread this visual information among the largest number of users of social networks. After all, excessive consumption of highly processed sugar can lead to diseases of the cardiovascular system, obesity, as well as metabolic diseases, including acquired type diabetes.
