35-year-old Italian artist Johannes Steuter at some point decided to replace the canvas with the human body. The decision, I must say, was very successful. Now he does not get tired to amaze the audience with new projects, constantly participating and winning in body painting competitions. His latest works were inspired by the motives of nature.

1. Johannes spends up to five months painstakingly planning and meticulously executing each of his creations until it is perfect.
2. Creating a new image requires up to eight hours of continuous work with each sitter. To prevent damage to the models, the artist uses special breathable paints.
3. The last and one of his most striking creations was a composition on the theme of a tropical tree frog, the implementation of which took five people and many hours of hard work.
4. Johannes, who was born in South Tyrol in Italy, says: “I did my first experiment with body painting in 2000. The experience was so special that I immediately wanted to do it again, I wanted to try different colors, different models and motifs.”
