How does the 136-metre Charter yacht Flying Fox
136-metre Charter Flying Fox is a superyacht like no other, and one of the few in its class that raised the industry standards to the heights once considered unrealistic.
Functional floor plan, soothing decor and favorite features of facilities such as Wellness centre world-class, exceptional cuisine and a fully stocked store, water sports, — all characteristics that will instantly allow any guest to feel at home.
While in the Bay of Monaco, the Lürssen project Manager Florian Preuss talks about this unique project.
In the creation of the project involved designers Espen Oyno and mark Berryman. These heavyweights were last joined forces in 2005 on a 60-metre Lürssen Arkley and now got another chance to work together to create an eternal masterpiece.
This becomes even more obvious when you look at the huge swimming platform, and an impressive Wellness centre in the resort style. On-Board Spa area of 400 square meters is located on two decks and leads from the main deck down to the beach club.
Here you can find a Jacuzzi with two tanks (can be replaced from the hot to cold within 10 minutes) and the world's first cryosauna installed on the boat. This experience creates a refreshing sensation as it can be at a temperature of -110 degrees no more than three minutes.
At the reception in the Spa salon on the main deck, guests can enjoy a variety of treatments ranging from Spa baths and rain showers to the procedures in the Hammam and even visit a beauty salon on Board for a haircut or facial, which is managed by a specialist team of beauticians Flying Fox.
On Board guests will find a fully equipped gym, with modern equipment, personal trainer and sea views. After a morning workout, return to the beach club, where trained and certified team for water sports Flying Fox will train you from zero to professional in such disciplines like kite surfing, scuba diving and water sports.
Technical diving to depths up to 100 meters can be carried out from the vessel using special equipment for breathing on Board, which is supported by the underwater camera and even medical staff on call if necessary. Beginners are encouraged to take their first dip in the main pool on the aft deck.
Being one of the most characteristic features of the Flying Fox, a unique swimming pool on the main deck is access to all water sports on Board and has become a popular meeting place among the guests. Engineering team had to come up with some innovative solutions to counter the effect of roll of ship on the water inside the pool.
The upper deck of the helipad can be converted by night for special occasions aboard, said the captain.
"We used that space for alfresco dining, and we recently held an event here for a party of 70 guests — so it is a great site.
Two lower levels devoted to lunch in the fresh air and rest. Fireplaces are located aft of the bridge and aft of the owner. This is a great place for guests to come and relax after a busy day of water sports. You can enjoy a drink, watching as the chef prepares dinner, and a fantastic view around."
Proper outdoor galley is Central and immediately announces that this is no ordinary setting of a superyacht. This space is intended for interactive and exciting dining moments with your closest friends and family.
Equally impressive are the canopies. On top of these triangular shapes is hard to miss, and they have been specially designed for practicality and aesthetics. Triangular shape allows the crew to easily install the awning canvas on each deck, and the spaces between each section provide a critical airflow, allowing them to stay in place even during the flight of the helicopter.
In the inner space are invited to truly appreciate the materials and a relaxed palette of elements that can be found in other parts of the yacht.
There are no bright accents or overly shiny surfaces, instead, guests find themselves in the soothing, evoking the desire to touch the situation with real solutions for communication and remote working environment, which you will not find even in their own homes.
One of the boldest claims a dramatic spiral staircase oval that connects all decks with a nearby Elevator. This tunnel of light provides important natural rays for a number of public areas through the window in the roof at the top of the design of the mast of the yacht, down to the lower deck.
In contrast to this serene environment, a Central Elevator, which was requested to remain open with all its complex engineering functions, is itself a masterpiece.
Can't miss the fact that as you stroll down the interior of the yacht — you will see a lot of greenery. Perhaps that's what makes you completely forget that you actually are floating on a yacht at sea. Collection of bonsai and other good-natured tree really ties the space, and you can't even imagine the interior without these natural movements.
Subject to the requirements of a quality Charter, accommodation Flying Fox was designed to conform to the life style of the yacht. All the hotel rooms, located on the main deck, filled with relaxing, bordering on the spiritual atmosphere that allows each of the 10 suites come with a private balcony on the side deck.
