How a bubble bursts

Swiss Fabian Ofner is an inquisitive explorer, photographer and artist whose work stands somewhere between art and science. Its purpose is to present the audience with previously unseen and poetic aspects of our world and invite us to stop for a moment and appreciate the magic that surrounds us everywhere. In his latest project, Rainbow, Ofner uses high-speed photography to capture the moment a bubble bursts. The soap bubble takes shape, gains height... and then bursts on one side and "burns out" in a split second, leaving behind many tiny droplets that also disappear.
