1. Crystal Renn - the most famous plus size model after Sophie Dahl - has had three modeling careers in the last 12 years. First, in the usual model weight, for which she was on the most severe diets from the age of 14 and earned serious eating disorders, losing a third of her weight in adolescence.
2. Then - the finest hour of Krystal - as a plus size model. Having the corresponding Russian 50th clothing size, the girl appeared on the covers, at the show and in the advertising campaign of Jean Paul Gaultier and countless shootings. Even Karl Lagerfeld, known for his unflattering remarks about fat people, invited the model to participate in the show of the Chanel cruise collection in 2010.
3. Now Renn has lost weight again (according to rumors, only thanks to yoga and Pilates) and found herself in an unprecedented position for the modeling world between sizes - her 42nd (Russian) size is equally far from both large models and “standard” ones.
4. Nevertheless, in the new weight, which Renn herself calls “human”, the girl turned out to be no less in demand: she starred in the legendary “swim” issue of Sports Illustrated in 2012, appeared on the covers of Allure Russia, Elle Ukraine, Harper's Bazaar Spain and Brazil , shooting for German Vogue, Russian Elle, American Glamour, and at the last Chanel 2015 cruise show.
Tara Lynn
5. One of the girls from that same black and white cover, Tara Lynn is today the most recognizable plus size model outside the United States.
6. Steven Meisel shot her for Italian Vogue, and French Elle put her on the cover next to the caption “Body” – a title that in the past was awarded only to thin Elle MacPherson – and dedicated a 20-page material to her.
7. She decided to try modeling when she needed college money, lives in Seattle, loves H&M (she was also featured in a Big Is Beautiful ad campaign in 2011), and is friends with another star of the covers and advertising campaigns of her weight category - Australian model Robin Lawley.

Robin Lauli
10. “There is no love more sincere than the love of food” - in all honesty, many of us can say that, but hearing this from a famous model is a big surprise.
11. Nevertheless, the Australian beauty Robin Lauli does not hesitate to confess her love not only for dietary products.
12. Lauli - one of the three feminine models on the cover and the first plus size model and face of the house of Ralph Lauren - is making revolutions in Europe, the United States, and in her native Australia, where she became the first model with a feminine figure on the cover of a local fashion magazine.
13. Currently, the girl writes a cookbook, maintains a popular food blog, releases a swimwear line for curvy girls and encourages everyone to stop calling her plus size models.
Denise Bido
14. "There is no wrong way to be a woman," says Denise Bido, a hot half-Puerto Rican, half-Kuwaiti woman.
15. Over the past few years, the 27-year-old model has starred in advertising campaigns for Forever 21, Macy's and Nordstrom and has become the star of the American reality show Curvy Girls about the lives of four full-size models and their career successes.
16. Bido is proud of her role as an example for all women over 55 kilograms, but especially for being able to succeed in an industry dominated by white European women.
17. The girl’s immediate plans are an acting career, for which she initially moved from her native Miami to Hollywood, until endless filming offers temporarily delayed her cherished dream.
Candice Huffine
18. 29-year-old American Candice Huffin - the third girl from the "large" cover - managed to become a star even before that.
19. For the January issue of V magazine in 2010, Nicola Formichetti and photographer Solve Sundsbo made the material "Shapes Go!", In which Candace appeared in swimsuits and lingerie.
20. This was followed by shooting for German Vogue, an appearance in the lens of Karl Lagerfeld for Harper's Bazaar, strips in W Magazine, iD and the last shooting of Tom Ford for Karine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book.
21. In addition to a dizzying career, Huffin is engaged in teaching how women with uniforms should dress, and plans to launch his own clothing line.
