Gastronomic autumn in Moscow
In September and October, the Moscow Autumn gastronomic festival is held in the capital. Here you can not only buy tasty and healthy farm products and try a rare or national dish, but also have fun.
1. The festival takes place at 36 venues throughout the city. It will last until October 11th.
2. 40 tons of pumpkins were brought from the regions especially to decorate the Moscow Autumn venues! And some specimens of this vegetable weigh 50 kg each.
3. So, giant pumpkins can be found on Tverskaya Square.
4. By the way, farmer John trades in one of the chalets on Tverskaya Square. He brought different types of cheese from the Vladimir region to the festival. British-born farmer John Kopiski is known for speaking during a direct line with President Vladimir Putin.
5. And every day, master classes from leading chefs are held as part of the festival. Culinary gurus prepare from what is presented at the festival itself.
6. Culinary classes are different: for example, in Lokavor cuisine - a culinary trend that is gaining momentum. The locavor rule is to create tasty and filling dishes from locally grown produce. Or a master class on cooking a traditional Brazilian feijoada dish from Russian farm products - beans with various types of meat and spices.
7. Chalets are presented at the festival venues, where exciting creative workshops for children take place.
8. You can also milk a cow in the very center of Moscow.
9. Sit behind the wheel of a tractor.
10. And relax in the green maze.
11. Cheerful sheep settled in the labyrinth itself.
12. Each of the festival venues is themed: "Capital Breakfast", "Farmer's Lunch", "Children's Snack", "Royal Feast" and others.
