This garden is located in the heart of Cumbria and is according to the opinion of connoisseurs of landscape art most beautiful and the oldest topiary gardens in the UK and around the world!
The designer of the garden was a Frenchman Guillaume beaumont (Guillame Beaumont), Creator and some other English gardens, such as HAMPTON Court, but before our time survived only Levens Hall.
Although he was a pupil of andré Le nôtre, the father of the French regular style, its gardens are nothing like the traditional French of the period.
