Flooding in Bulgaria
At least ten people have died as a result of floods caused by downpours in Bulgaria. The greatest blow of the elements fell on the port city of Varna, located on the Black Sea coast, as well as on the 90,000-strong city of Dobrich in the north-east of the country. Cars were washed away, streets and houses were flooded, some parts of the city were left without electricity. At this time, the situation is already close to normalization, rescue teams are working on the ground. The authorities do not exclude that the number of victims may increase.
