You have probably noticed that old black and white photographs look mystical and even ghostly. As if something mysterious was once hiding on the other side of the lens. Art director and designer Kevin Weir decided to experiment with black and white photographs he found in the Library of Congress, the online version of the US national library. Old b/w photos Kevin turned into a mystical animation filled with ghosts, which seems to have descended from the screens of mystical films or gothic literature. Kevin Weir called his project Fluxmachine.
