Oakland carpenter Hank Verhoff has been making furniture all his life.
But he doesn't make these magic dressers for work, but for the soul.
When Hank's daughter posted photos of his work on Facebook, he immediately had hundreds of fans.
Frank performs his work with extraordinary care, ensuring ease of use.
According to Hank, he likes to make "unusual, strange furniture that can't be found in the store."
Hank admits that the source of inspiration for his works are fairy tales.
It's not easy to do this kind of work.
As Hank himself says, it takes him from 80 to 100 hours for one such chest of drawers.
Now Hank is retired, and he does his work for the soul.
After finding out about Hank's work on Facebook, many people wanted to buy such unusual lockers.
But Frank isn't selling yet.
Despite the fact that these amazing dressers seem broken, they are absolutely working! Each drawer slides out, and the structure itself is quite stable.
While Hank's products decorate his own house.
The main material for Hank is New Zealand pine.
According to Hank and his daughter Linda, they did not expect such mass interest.
