Devastating floods in India and Pakistan
In India and Pakistan, more than 350 people became victims of landslides and severe floods, provoked by heavy monsoon rains. Tens of thousands suffered and were left homeless. The number of victims continues to rise. Military and volunteers are involved in rescue work in both countries. Many have to be rescued with the help of boats and helicopters. Authorities called the current floods the most powerful in the past 60 years.
