Curly kittens, similar to plush toys, do not leave anyone indifferent
What could be more touching than a fluffy kitten? It is quite obvious - a kitten with curly hair! Kittens of the Selkirk-Rex breed have such an angelic appearance that it is simply impossible to pass them by. This breed, which is still rare in our country, is breaking popularity records in Europe and plush babies can increasingly be found on postcards, posters and in advertising.
Kittens from Switzerland Tony, Manny, Sosa and Elvira are the real stars of Instagram. 114 thousand users have already subscribed to their shared account. Owners of cute Selkirk-Rex babies add new photos and videos with curls almost daily, ripping off thousands of likes and hundreds of enthusiastic comments.
Selkirk-rex cats are a relatively new breed that appeared in the U.S. state of Montana in 1987. These animals have become "stars" in the USA, but no one even imagined that real success awaits representatives of this breed in Europe and Asia. In the Old World, no cat show can do without Selkirk Rex, and in In China, Japan and South Korea, to buy a curly kitten, sometimes you have to sign up.
Not all Selkirk Rexes are born with wavy hair — sometimes cute, but quite ordinary fluffy babies without signs of breed are born. Breeders know that this is not a verdict — with age, the fur of animals begins to curl, and an adult cat will no longer be any different from its "plush" counterparts.
Such cats cause affection at any age, both in the youngest and in adulthood. Look at the Tony, Manny, Sosu and Elvira—aren't they wonderful? Very soon we will be able to see them as adults and, believe me, they will have no less fans than now.
And the fur of these cats is not so curly, but their fluffiness is just off the scale, so they are admirable no less than Selkirk Rex.
