Crocosaurus Cove Extreme Attraction in Australia
In the Australian city of Darwin City there is an attraction called Crocosaurus Cove, the essence of which is that you are placed in a special protective container in a pool with a huge crocodile. The duration of the adventure is 20 minutes. Here you will also be offered underwater photography with an ancient reptile and its feeding.
Crocosaurus Cove is a nature reserve inhabited by about 100 crocodiles, 40 turtles, as well as a variety of lizards and fish.
Crocosaurus Cove is home to the world's largest Australian reptiles — crested crocodiles. This crocodile is called the king of reptiles and the thunderstorm of all living things. If such a crocodile attacked a person, then the rest can only watch as the predator drags its victim to the bottom. Nothing can be done in this situation. In Australia, it is rumored that in small villages on the banks of rivers there is not a single family whose member has not been dragged away by a crocodile.
In Crocosaurus Cove, you can just wander around the park and get acquainted with reptiles and fish, or you can test your courage and nerve strength by going to the Death Cage attraction. This is one of the largest water attractions of its kind in Australia.
A three-meter glass Cage of Death ("Death Capsule") made of heavy-duty glass, in which curious tourists are located, is lowered into a relatively small pool with a crocodile about five meters in size. Despite such an intimidating name, the capsule is relatively safe. In addition, before diving, every visitor should familiarize himself with safety precautions.
The duration of acquaintance with crocodiles lasts no more than 15 minutes. In order to avoid accidents, the organizers abandoned the iron cages with steel rods, which are usually used when diving to sharks, in favor of glass cabins, but even they show deep scratches from the teeth of underwater reptiles.
Daredevils are immersed in water, and they are left alone with crocodiles. Crocodiles in the park, without a doubt, are not tamed, and therefore behave absolutely naturally, taking the cage with you in it not even for an enemy, but for food. To date, the attraction is considered the most extreme in the world, where a huge number of both local visitors and tourists have already visited.
