Conditions of the "Hollywood" prison for hockey player Vyacheslav Voinov
On July 7, the Russian defender of the National Hockey League (NHL) club Los Angeles Kings began serving a prison sentence for domestic violence against his wife Marta Varlamova. The athlete made a deal with the investigation, receiving in exchange a 90-day sentence in the well-known California prison Los Angeles County Jail. Voinov was arrested on October 20, 2014 after bringing his wounded wife, Marta Varlamova, to a hospital in Redondo Beach, California. The next day, the hockey player was released on bail of 50 thousand dollars, but the police did not stop the investigation. The denouement of the domestic violence case came in early July: the athlete entered into a deal with the investigation, under the terms of which he must serve 90 days in the Men's Central County Jail in Los Angeles, pay a $ 700 fine and undergo a year's preventive course. With good behavior, the term can be knocked off up to 45 days.
