1. In Dubai, you can find everything you need for a complete beach holiday. The small city-state is a highly developed tourist center that lures tourists with top-notch shopping, comfortable accommodation, the best food and excellent sports facilities. In Dubai, most of the local beaches are owned by hotels, but you can soak up the clean sand and free of charge on the public beaches of Jumeirah and Palm Beach.
Sydney, Australia
2. Sydney's Bondi is one of the greatest beaches in the world, if only for the reason that here, if you're lucky, you can swim in the sea foam blown ashore by the winds. This beach is located almost in the center of the city and, among other things, is characterized by beautiful waves that are suitable for surfing. But don't be fooled into thinking this is the only beach in Sydney - there are also crowded Coogee, Bronte and Cronulla. Sydney's northern beaches can be explored on a day trip: they form a continuous stretch of more than twenty beaches, ending only in Palm Beach.
Valencia, Spain
3. Valencia is located along the Mediterranean coast of Spain and offers a rich choice for beach lovers. You can lay a towel on the wide Playa de la Malvarrosa or on the neighboring Playa de las Arenas. The beaches are located close to chic restaurants and bars, so all the entertainment here is concentrated in one place.
Tel Aviv, Israel
4. Tel Aviv is Jerusalem in reverse. The modern Sin City on the sea and the ancient Holy City on the hill. When the weather is warm, in Tel Aviv, crowds of people go to the city's beaches. You will meet people of all ages soaking up the Mediterranean rays, kite surfing and tossing small rubber balls during friendly matches in matkot (a local variation of badminton). The beaches here are safe and clean, with changing rooms and freshwater showers dotted along the coastline. The beaches are filled with people most of the day, especially on Saturdays, when crowds of vacationers come here from the very morning to take a better place.
Barcelona, Spain
5. Barcelona is the most cosmopolitan city in Spain and one of the busiest ports in the Mediterranean. Restaurants, bars and clubs are always packed to capacity, at any time of the year. A line of popular Barcelona beaches stretches northeast of Port Olimpic. The southernmost beach, Playa de la Nova Icaria, is the busiest. Behind it, across the Avinguda del Litoral highway, is Plaça del Campions. Barcelona's beaches are mostly artificial, but that doesn't stop the seven million tourists who come here every year.
Cape Town, South Africa
6. Handsome, cheerful, athletic, sociable - if Cape Town was registered on Facebook, this is what he would write in the “About me” column, and it would be true. The city under the Table Mountains has also become famous as an excellent beach resort. Among the beaches scattered along the coastline, you can find a place to relax for any occasion and for any company. For fun with friends and drinking cocktails, you can go to Camps Bay, while family vacations are in full swing on the eastern beaches, and Fish Hoek Beach located there is also used for rugby on the sand.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
7. Be careful: the power of Rio's seduction is such that, leaving here, you can fall into the deepest saudade (Portuguese word for indescribable longing). The beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema are the most famous and popular among tourists, but only a visit to the Buzios peninsula and getting to know its hardworking fishermen will allow you to experience the traditional taste of Brazilian beach life.
Tangier, Morocco
8. Until recently, Tangier was an unremarkable city that was not very favored by beach lovers. But after the arrival of the new mayor, the city beach sparkles and even taxi drivers here have become more polite. As Tangier transformed, travelers discovered many great spots for surfing, sunbathing and relaxing with the family. Here you can take a walk along the picturesque promenade, watch local children play beach soccer, or ride a camel.
Brighton, England
9. Brighton is the most popular and actively developing seaside resort in England. An hour's drive from London, this thriving city of rebelliousness, vibrant student life and active New Age and hippie movement is located. The local beach consists of pebbles, not sand, but this does not prevent thousands of tourists from relaxing here. Whether it's midday sunbathing or a midnight party - English Brighton Beach is never empty.
