Christians against dinosaurs: in Arizona, believers were offended by the statue of tirex
It is very easy to offend the religious feelings of believers. Not so long ago, even a statue of a tyrannosaurus rex, which stands near McDonalds in Tucson, Arizona, managed to do this. Local Christian activists demand the demolition of an impressive and very realistic figure, because its very existence is blasphemy and an attempt to inspire children with the idea that dinosaurs actually existed.
As it turned out, in Arizona there is a whole society "Christians against dinosaurs", whose members devote a lot of time to exposing the "scam with giant reptiles". In their opinion, dinosaurs are the product of a conspiracy of liberals against Christianity and all decent citizens of the United States. The activists of the movement consider the immutable biblical fact that the age of the Earth does not exceed 6 thousand years to be the main arguments of their rightness. As for material facts, such as fossils, Christians are sure that this is nothing more than a primitive forgery designed for fools.
Christians who deny evolution do not appear near the blasphemous reptile statue and act remotely, bombarding managers with messages and annoying calls. In addition, they are looking for support among network users — on August 15, a post appeared on the page "Christians against Dinosaurs" with the following content:

In social networks, the dinosaur scandal was not missed and the opinions of users were divided. Some believe that a Christian organization is worthy of going to psychiatrists for examination in its entirety. And others... consider the story of Tirex to be nothing more than trolling believers. They are sure that such utter stupidity simply cannot exist in nature and draw everyone's attention to the fact that the comments in the group "Christians against Dinosaurs" are full of wits.
Attempts by representatives of the press to contact the leaders or at least one of the members of the society have not yet been successful, which is also very suspicious. Meanwhile, the group has been on Facebook for more than five years and it continues to be carefully conducted, filling it with new "facts" that refute the existence of giant reptiles.
