Bosnian pensioner built a revolving house to please a grumpy wife

Women often inspired men to do amazing things. Usually they did it with their beauty and love, but sometimes with a bad temper. A grumpy wife so got an elderly resident of Bosnia and Herzegovina with her whims that he did almost the impossible. For 6 years, a simple farmer without special education has built a house that rotates around its axis.

Bosniak Warrior Kusic (Vojin Kusic) suffered from the attacks of his wife for many years. She constantly disliked their house, yard, furniture and the landscape outside the window. The woman insisted that her 66-year-old husband start building a new home. Anticipating that his wife would start nagging him again for the dull view from the window, the Warrior made the house rotate.

Since Kusich had never had to do anything like this before, the construction was delayed. The house was built for 6 years. Shortly before the completion of the work, a 72-year-old man was hospitalized with a heart attack. He asked doctors to prolong his life at least until he finishes what he started.

Doctors saved the Warrior's life, and instead of enjoying it, he continued construction. Now the house is fully completed and is considered a local landmark. It is located on a plain near the town of Srbak, in northern Bosnia. In the center of the building there is a steel seven-meter axis of rotation with a huge bearing. The house is driven by powerful electric motors.

Some windows of the house overlook the cornfield, and others overlook the forest and the river. But in the house of Kusich everything is relative — the turn of the switch radically changes the landscape. The building can rotate in several modes. At the quietest speed, it makes a full turn in 24 hours, and at maximum speed - in just 22 seconds.

Journalists often ask Warrior Kusich why he decided to build such an unusual house at an advanced age. To this Bosniak replies that he has always gravitated towards engineering science. Just because of the large economy, the hands never reached education. Despite this, Kusic calls Nikola Tesla and Mikhail Pupin, the most famous Serbian-American scientists, his idols.

Unfortunately, we do not know — his eternally dissatisfied wife left the Warrior alone. Perhaps she continues to nag him. It seems to us that even a rotating house has not solved his problem, which is not at all in the view from the window.
