Bird Photographer Of The Year 2023 Unveils Winged Wonders (Part2)
In the 2023 Bird Photographer of the Year competition, judges reviewed over 20,000 global submissions, highlighting diverse avian behavior and habitats. Jack Zhi’s winning image captures a Peregrine Falcon attacking a Brown Pelican mid-flight.
Other notable images include Nicolas Reusens’ Glistening-green Tanager, Rafael Armada’s Sword-billed Hummingbird, and Henley Spiers’ underwater shot of a Blue-footed Booby. The 2024 contest is now open for entries on the organization’s website, and you can see some of this year’s winning photos in the gallery below.
